Long Time No Writey

I feel obligated to write something since it has been over a week...

Unfortunately, I can't think of much to write about. I could complain about how lousy the weather has been in the Twin Cities, but today finally it is very nice out, and hopefully tomorrow will be too, as I get to play golf after work.

I could write about how it appears the Long Beach Grand Prix appears to be safely in Champ Car hands, thanks to the efforts of one of the series owners, Kevin Kalkhoven... who made a bunch of money during the Silicon Valley boom, and wisely sold some of it before the bottom fell out.

Or I could talk about how freakin' cool the PlayStation 3 looks... and I'm not even close to being a hardcore gamer.

I need to think of something eventually. Or maybe I'll just go out and take more photos.

Los Angeles Redux

Okay, I finally coughed up the money to PBase so they will host my pictures. I wasn't very happy with how flickr sized pictures down so much for casual viewing... good for snapshots, but if you actually want to see more detail, it is a pain.

Anyways - this is pretty much a test to see if I remember how to use HTML IMG tags...

white stuff is back

The spots of white in this photo are not smudges on the camera lens, or the remnants of dandelions floating in the wind.. they are snowflakes... in MAY.

It's really not that out of the ordinary, I remember as recently as two years ago getting a fair bit of snow around May 8th or so... but it still sucks.

My very brief review of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy... if you've read and enjoyed the books, you will like the movie. I suspect that if you haven't, it may be a bit confusing at first, but I encourage you to just go and have fun.
